Cuyamaca 100k
The Cuyamaca 100k is a trail endurance run held in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park with a small portion of the course in Anza Borrego Desert State Park. The route crosses oak woodlands, meadows, pine forest, and chaparral and covers a total of 100 km.
The event is based at Camp Cuyamaca and limits the field to 250 qualified entrants. Entrants must have completed a verifiable trail race of 50 km or longer in 2025 or 2026; runners without an existing qualifier may list a qualifier as pending and must notify the organizer when it is completed. Registration opens April 1, 2026. The registration fee is $255 plus registration platform fees. Refunds are available: $175 before July 1, 2026, and $125 before September 1, 2026.
Race operations include a mandatory live tracking pod for each runner and a 19 hour overall time limit with intermediate cutoffs. Aid stations provide at minimum water, an electrolyte sport drink, gels, fruit, salty foods, sweets, and ice; later stations add hot food and broth. All finishers receive a 100k medal; overall winners receive a free entry to the next year and podium and masters finishers receive handcrafted awards.
