Cuyamaca 100k
Cuyamaca 100k is a trail endurance race held in San Diego, CA on Oct 3, 2026. The event covers a distance of 100 kilometers and has been held since 2012.
The course travels through varied mountain terrain in Cuyamaca Rancho and Anza Borrego Desert State Parks. Runners pass oak woodlands, meadows, pine forests, and chaparral across the route. The race uses the facilities at a venue that also hosts a sixth grade outdoor education program that has operated for more than 70 years.
The 2026 running of the event serves as a qualifier for Western States 2027. The race organization supports environmental and public lands causes and partners with the nonprofit Runners for Public Lands to promote sustainability practices and equitable access to nature. Proceeds or support for outdoor education benefit the Cuyamaca Outdoor School and its sixth grade camp program.
Registration for the 2026 race opens April 1, 2026. The event includes course information, aid station details, and training runs as part of its race information materials. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
