The Anza Borrego Cuyamaca 50 Mile Run is a point-to-point ultramarathon in Julian, California on December 6, 2025. The distance is 50 miles and runners are allowed 14.5 hours to finish. Registration closes on December 4 at 11:59 PM PT.
The course starts at the Sunrise Trailhead and finishes at Stagecoach Trails RV Resort & Campground.
Course and logistics
The route descends into Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, includes an ascent of Stonewall Peak, passes wooded trails near the lake, and drops down Oriflamme Canyon onto the desert floor toward the finish. The organizer holds training runs on the race course.
The event is described as family and crew friendly. Most aid stations offer easy access. The finish area at Stagecoach Trails includes the option to camp, a post-race meal in the resort dining hall, and showers.
