Course Overview

The Anza Borrego Cuyamaca 50 Mile Run is a point-to-point course covering 50 miles along trails in the San Diego area. It begins at the Sunrise Trailhead and descends into Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. The route ascends Stonewall Peak and runs along wooded trails near a lake before a final drop down Oriflamme Canyon onto the desert floor. The finish line is at the Stagecoach Trails RV Resort & Campground. Runners have 14.5 hours to finish.

Amenities and Logistics

The event is described as family and crew friendly, with most aid stations offering easy access. A post-race meal is served at the resort's dining hall, and showers are available. Participants have the option to camp at the finish line venue. A pre-race shuttle is offered for an additional fee of $15 per runner, transporting participants from the finish line to the start line in the morning. There is no post-race shuttle.
