Event overview
Old West Trail Runs take place on March 14, 2026, in the Anza Borrego Desert area near Julian, California. The event includes a 50K, a marathon, and a half marathon. Aid, crew, and facilities
Full aid stations are located at Stagecoach Saddle, Blair Valley, and Pinyon Canyon. These aid stations provide water, sports drinks, soda, ice, gels, snacks, PB&J sandwiches, fruit, cookies, and electrolyte capsules. Crews, friends, and family are allowed on the course only at Blair Valley and Plum Canyon. All finishers receive medals and the event provides tech race shirts with entries; shirt availability may be limited after December 15. Hot showers and multiple restrooms are available at the campground. Dogs are allowed in camp but not on state park trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
