Cupid's Chase 5K Silver Spring takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Wheaton Regional Park, 2000 Shorefield Road, Silver Spring, MD 20902. The event is part of a national race series celebrating Community Options’ founding and marks its 18th annual local running event. Last year the series drew over 11,000 participants nationwide. The event is described as fully accessible and pet-friendly; all pets must remain leashed. It welcomes runners, walkers, participants with baby strollers or wheelchairs. To guarantee an event shirt, registrants must sign up by January 1, 2026; shirts and other giveaways such as a finisher medal and drawstring bag are available while supplies last. Trophies will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be awarded in 14 age categories, from 12 & under through 70 & over. The event is held rain or shine and all registration fees are non-refundable.
