Cupid's Chase 5K Silver Spring takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Wheaton Regional Park, 2000 Shorefield Road, Silver Spring, MD 20902. It is the 18th annual race in the national Cupid's Chase series that supports Community Options, Inc., a national nonprofit that provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Race details
The event features a certified 5K with professional timing and immediate posting of results. The entry fee is listed at $45; the fee increases after February 13, 2026. A race shirt is guaranteed for entries received by January 1, 2026; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. Giveaways include a finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers in these 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, and 70 & over. The event is fully accessible and pet-friendly; pets must remain leashed. This is a rain or shine event and all registration fees are non-refundable.
