Cupid's Chase 5K San Antonio takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the San Antonio Zoo, 3903 North St. Mary's Street, San Antonio, TX 78212. The event is part of a national race series that marks the founding of Community Options and is the 18th annual local race. The main distance is 5K. The race welcomes runners, walkers, participants with baby strollers or wheelchairs, and sponsors. The event raises funds to support housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Last year, the series attracted over 11,000 participants nationwide.
Race details and awards
The course is a certified 5K with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race. Entry for the 5K is listed at $45; the price increases after February 13, 2026. To guarantee a race shirt, registration is required by January 1, 2026; shirts are available later while supplies last. Giveaways include a finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be awarded for the following groups: 12 & under; 13–15; 16–19; 20–24; 25–29; 30–34; 35–39; 40–44; 45–49; 50–54; 55–59; 60–64; 65–69; and 70 & over. No pets are permitted.
