Cupid's Chase 5K San Antonio takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the San Antonio Zoo, 3903 North St. Mary's Street, San Antonio, TX 78212. It is the local event in a national race series that marks the founding of Community Options. The series held its 18th annual race in 2026. Last year, more than 11,000 runners participated nationwide. The event welcomes runners, walkers, participants with baby strollers or wheelchairs, and sponsors.
Race details
The event includes a certified 5K with professional timing; results will be posted immediately after the race. Registration will guarantee a Cupid's Chase shirt if completed by January 1, 2026; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. Giveaways include a finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age-group medals will be awarded to overall male and female finishers in these 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over. No pets are permitted at the race location. The event is held rain or shine and registration fees are non-refundable.
Sponsorship and beneficiary
Sponsorship opportunities are offered at levels from $500 to $10,000, including Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and exhibitor tables. The event benefits Community Options, Inc., a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in 1989 and headquartered in Princeton, NJ, which provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
