Cupid's Chase 5K is a national race series held each February to benefit Community Options, Inc., a nonprofit providing housing and employment services for people with disabilities. The event in 2026 takes place on Saturday, February 14 and is staged in three New York City boroughs: Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, Prospect Park at the Peristyle in Brooklyn, and Randall's Island Field #10 in Manhattan. Event details and amenities
- Distance: 5K
- Courses for Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan are USATF certified and use professional timing; results are posted immediately after the race.
- Participants may include runners, walkers, baby strollers and wheelchair users.
- To guarantee a race shirt, register by January 1, 2026; shirts, finisher medals and drawstring bags are available while supplies last. Personalized bib names are provided about three weeks before race day for those who register early.
- Awards include trophies for the top 3 overall male and female finishers and age-group medals for male and female finishers in standard age brackets from 12 & under through 70+.
- Sponsorship opportunities are offered at multiple levels, including Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and exhibitor tables.
