Cupid's Chase 5K Albuquerque
Cupid's Chase 5K takes place on February 13, 2027 at Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The event is part of a national race series that celebrates the founding of Community Options and marks its 19th annual race. Last year more than 17,000 runners across the country participated in the series.
The race is a certified 5K (3.1 Miles) with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race. Local registration for the 5K opens June 9, 2026 and closes December 1, 2026; the registration fee for the 5K is $40.00. To guarantee a Cupid's Chase shirt, registration must be completed by January 1, 2027; shirts and other giveaways such as a finisher medal and drawstring bag are available while supplies last. All registration fees are non refundable and the event is held rain or shine. No pets are permitted at the venue.
The event welcomes runners, walkers, families with strollers, and wheelchair participants. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & over.
