Cupid's Chase 5K Rutherford is a local stop in a national race series held on February 13, 2027 at Memorial Park, 2 Darwin Avenue, Rutherford, New Jersey. The event is the 19th annual race in the series that supports Community Options and raises funds for housing and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
The main race distance is 5K (3.1 miles) and the course is a certified 5K with professional timing; results will be posted immediately after the race. The event welcomes runners, walkers, families with strollers, wheelchair participants, and sponsors. The venue is fully accessible and pet-friendly; all pets must remain leashed at all times.
Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group medals awarded to the overall male and female finishers in 14 age groups from 12 and under through 70 and over. Giveaways listed for participants include a Cupid's Chase finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last. To guarantee a Cupid's Chase shirt, entries submitted by January 1, 2027 are guaranteed a shirt; after that date shirts are available while supplies last.
