Cruel Jewel 50 - Blue Ridge, GA
Cruel Jewel 50 is a point to point trail race of 57.5 miles held within the Chattahoochee National Forest in the North Georgia Mountains. The route runs from Blairsville to Blue Ridge and is composed of 50 miles of trails and 7.5 miles of mountain roads. The course is served by 10 aid stations.
The route features technical single track trails, ferns and old growth poplar trees, steep ascents and steep descents, an historic steel bridge spanning the Toccoa River, the Dragon's Spine, lush hardwood forests, and sections of rocks, roots and ridge lines. The course includes more than 17,000 feet of ascent and more than 17,000 feet of descent.
Live tracking and bib numbers will be loaded and published the week of the race. The race packet will be available no later than two weeks prior to the race.
