Crowell Hilaka Trail Run - Richfield, OH
The Crowell Hilaka Trail Run takes place at Richfield Heritage Preserve, formerly Crowell Hilaka. The course combines primitive single track including sections of the Buckeye Trail, bridle trails, open fields, and camp roads. Runners can expect trail conditions such as mud, slippery rocks, foot grabbing roots, minor water crossings, and other natural obstacles. Mid September timing means autumn colors may be beginning to appear in the preserve.

The format uses a roughly 6 mile loop run multiple times: five loops for the 50K, two loops for the half marathon, and one loop for the 10K. Aid stations will supply water, gels, and salty and sugary items, with more substantial offerings for the 50K. Bib pickup is at the start area in the summer barn on race day; a Saturday pickup option may be available while the course is being marked and registrants will be notified after registration closes.
Pricing is tiered by date: 50K $65 early bird, $75 after April 25, $85 after July 18; half marathon $45 early bird, $55 after April 25, $65 after July 18; 10K $35 early bird, $45 after April 25, $55 after July 18. Prices are plus Ultrasignup fee. Awards are given to overall and masters, male and female, for each distance.
