Crosswinds Run Series
The Crosswinds Run Series is a race day in Canandaigua, New York, hosted at Crosswinds Church, 3360 Middle Cheshire Rd. The event includes multiple distances on a USATF sanctioned and certified course and raises funds for a local student support program.
Race options include:
- 5K Run/Walk, USATF certified, open to runners and walkers of all ages.
- 10K Run, USATF certified, open to runners who can complete the course within 90 minutes.
- Kids Fun Run, a half-mile course on the Crosswinds campus for preschool through fifth grade.
Packet pickup is available the evening before and the morning of the event at Crosswinds Church. Medals are awarded to the top three in each designated age group for the 5K and 10K. Participants registered by August 9, 2026 are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Kids who register by that date receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal, and access to a post-race snack table. Post-race food is provided by Love Handles Eatery. An award ceremony follows the races.
Proceeds benefit The Spot, a local organization that provides school supplies, clothing, food, and shoes to students in the Canandaigua and Victor school districts. The previous year’s event raised $13,400 for The Spot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
