Valiant PT Cross Country Challenge 6k : Evanston
The event takes place at Lovelace Park in Evanston, IL and is presented by Valiant Physical Therapy for Runners together with Illinois Prep Top Timing. The course consists of three all-grass loops on a public cross-country course, covering a distance of 3.62 miles.
Entries are accepted for individuals and for club or pickup teams of three or more runners. Entry fees vary by registration period: early-bird through July 31 is Adults $30 and ages 14 and under $25; August 1 through August 30 is Adults $35 and ages 14 and under $30; race-day entries are $40. Race entries include a short- or long-sleeve performance-mesh shirt; shirt options include mens and womens short- and long-sleeve in sizes S, M, L, XL.
An awards presentation follows the race and includes a gathering with burgers and brats for runners and race volunteers. Volunteer roles requested for the event include course setup, course marshals, grill chef and picnic support, and post-event teardown.
