Race Judicata - Diversey Harbor, Lincoln Park
Race Judicata is a community 5K run and walk held in Lincoln Park, Chicago. The course follows a lakeside loop along the south lagoon path up to Diversey Harbor and returns to the field at 1746 N Stockton Drive. Chip timing is used and split times are available; water is provided at the start, on course, and at the finish. The course route is USATF certified (IL-09119-JW).
The event benefits the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation, with proceeds supporting the organization’s general operating costs to help ensure access to legal services. Participants receive a commemorative event T-shirt and teams may enter a t-shirt contest judged by a panel. Team options include group payment, team registration pages, and tent rentals for a dedicated spot at the post-race area. Tent rentals include tables and chairs and can be used for team packet delivery.
An after-party follows the course with live music and complimentary beer, wine, and snacks. Awards are given by gender and age categories and include overall and top lawyer awards. The event runs rain or shine; in cases of severe weather the event may be delayed or canceled and entry fees are nonrefundable. Race rules restrict dogs, bikes, strollers, and other wheeled devices on the course until after walkers start; dogs are permitted in the tent area if leashed.
