Event Overview
The Crooked Lake Trail Run takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Independence Oaks County Park in Clarkston, Michigan. The event features several distances on trails described as well-maintained, with rolling terrain and hardwood forests. Proceeds benefit the Trecho Fitness Foundation.
Available Distances
Participants can choose from several courses:
- 2.3 Mile Run/Walk: A flat loop offering views around Crooked Lake.
- 5K Run/Walk: A course with rolling hills and forested stretches.
- 10K Run: Two laps of the 5K course for a longer distance. A virtual participation option is also available.
Registration Information
Registration includes chip timing with live results, a custom Dri-Fit race shirt, and a custom finisher medal. Awards are given for overall and age group categories. Participants also receive free race photos and post-race refreshments.
Packet pickup is available on race day at the park. Parking is free. Race-day registration is available, though shirt and medal availability may be limited. Dogs are not allowed on the course unless they are service animals. Jogging strollers are permitted only on the 2.3-mile course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
