CrimsonRise Waterfront 5K and 1M Run Roll Walk

The event’s mission is to serve autistic individuals with sensory, movement, and communication differences by presuming competence and providing communication access and regulation support. It aims to build a neurodiverse community where neurodivergent and neurotypical people can share learning and supportive relationships. Participants using wheelchairs and those who are deaf or blind are explicitly welcomed. The event lists a partnership with Achilles International to support inclusive participation.
Awards include prize money for the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K run: first $250, second $150, third $100. The 1 mile run awards medals to the top three male and female overall, and medals are given to all children who participate in the 5K and the 1 mile run. Amenities include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrants who sign up three weeks in advance.
