About the race
The Coyote Crawl 5K and Head for the Hills 10K take place on November 7, 2026 at Bellefontaine Cemetery, 4947 West Florissant Avenue, St. Louis, MO. The courses run through Missouri's first Level III Arboretum across the cemetery's 314 acres and include rolling hills and cemetery grounds that commemorate about 87,000 lives.

- 5K in person or virtual.
- 10K in person or virtual.
The event offers both in person and virtual participation. Virtual runs may be completed any time between October 31 and November 7. In-person timed entries include a race shirt and a commemorative medal; registrations that include shirt and medal must be completed before October 1 to keep that option. Packet pickup is provided on race morning. Bicycles are not permitted in the races.
Field size is limited to the first 250 registrants because of parking constraints. Awards will be presented to the top three male and top three female finishers in each race. Proceeds support the Friends of Bellefontaine and benefit cemetery community programs such as Angels Rest, historic preservation, and educational tours.
