About the race
Coyote Crawl 5K and Head for the Hills 10K are running events held at Bellefontaine Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. The courses travel through Missouri’s first Level III Arboretum across the cemetery’s 314 acres, which commemorate about 87,000 lives and is described as the oldest Garden Cemetery west of the Mississippi.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation options. In-person timed entries include a race shirt and a commemorative medal; chip timing applies to the in-person runs. Packet pickup occurs on race morning. Limited quantities of shirts and medals may be available for purchase at the event. To retain the option to receive a shirt and medal, registration must be completed before October 1.
Entry is limited to the first 250 registrants because of parking limitations. Bicycles are not permitted in the race. Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers in each race.
Proceeds benefit the Friends of Bellefontaine and support cemetery community programs such as Angels Rest, historic preservation, and educational tours.
