The 2027 Cowtown Race Weekend
The Cowtown Race Weekend takes place in Fort Worth, Texas at 3400 Burnett Tandy Drive across several days in late February 2027 with additional virtual race options available from January 8 to March 31, 2027. The event includes in-person races on the weekend and parallel virtual distances for the same race categories.
Event distances in person include:
- Kids 5K presented by PNC Bank
- Adults 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon presented by Miller Lite
The weekend features live bands along the course, cheering crowds, and an after party for participants, friends, and family. The event offers medals for Half, Full, and Ultra distances for multiple years, including a 2028 50th anniversary medal that can display previous medals together.
The Cowtown C.A.L.F. Program supports children's fitness and fundraising is part of the event. To date the fundraising listing shows $3,906.13 raised toward a $25,000 goal. Historically the program has provided over 65,000 pairs of running shoes and serves more than 5,000 students each year. A C.A.L.F. Supporter Bib option includes a portion of the fee treated as a tax deductible donation and offers benefits such as a limited Cowtown Gold Pass with VIP hospitality access, premium seating, private restrooms, gear check, and entrance to special race weekend events.
