The 2027 Cowtown Race Weekend - Fort Worth, TX
The Cowtown Race Weekend takes place over multiple days in Fort Worth, Texas, on February 26–28, 2027. The event offers both in-person and virtual race options, with virtual entries available January 8 through March 31, 2027.
Distances held in person include:
- Kids 5K presented by PNC Bank
- Adults 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon presented by Miller Lite
On the in-person weekend schedule, the 10K and both 5K races are held on Saturday, and the Half Marathon, Full Marathon, and Ultra Marathon are held on Sunday. The event features live bands along the course, cheering crowds, and an after party where participants and guests gather after racing.
The Cowtown organizes fundraising through C.A.L.F. (Children’s Activities for Life and Fitness). Fundraising for the event shows a current total raised of $2,507.16 toward a $25,000.00 goal. The Cowtown reports that the C.A.L.F. program has provided over 65,000 pairs of running shoes and gives more than 5,000 students each year the opportunity to cross a first finish line.
Medals are produced for the Half, Full, and Ultra distances, including special medals referenced for 2026, 2027, and a 2028 50th anniversary series that can be displayed together. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
