Cowtown Race Weekend

The 2027 Cowtown Race Weekend

The 2027 Cowtown Race Weekend takes place at 3400 Burnett Tandy Drive, Fort Worth, TX. For the last 49 years the Cowtown Marathon has been a Fort Worth tradition, starting in 1979 and growing into a multi-event weekend with both in-person and virtual options.

In-person races are scheduled across a weekend in late February and include multiple distances. Virtual race entries are available from January 8 to March 31, 2027. The event includes a post-race gathering for runners, friends, and family.

The event supports the C.A.L.F. program, which has provided over 65,000 pairs of running shoes and gives more than 5,000 students each year the chance to finish a race. The Cowtown C.A.L.F. Supporter Bib lets participants pay a base registration rate while making a tax-deductible donation; Supporter Bibs include benefits such as a limited Gold Pass with VIP hospitality access, complimentary food and beverages, premium seating, private restrooms, gear check, and access to special race weekend events.
