The 2027 Cowtown Race Weekend
The Cowtown Race Weekend takes place in Fort Worth, Texas, at 3400 Burnett Tandy Drive and runs across several days in late February 2027 (February 26–28, 2027). The event includes both in-person and virtual options; the virtual race window runs from January 8 to March 31, 2027.
In-person races are scheduled over the weekend:
- Adults 5K
- Kids 5K presented by PNC Bank
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon presented by Miller Lite
The event features live bands and spectators along the course. Medals are awarded for Half, Full, and Ultra distances, with special medal designs noted for 2026, 2027, and a 2028 50th anniversary medal that can display prior medals together. An after party follows the races where runners, friends, and family gather.
The Cowtown supports the C.A.L.F. (Children’s Activities for Life and Fitness) program. The program has provided over 65,000 pairs of running shoes and helps more than 5,000 students each year experience a finish line.
