The 2027 Cowtown Race Weekend
The Cowtown Race Weekend is a multi-day running event held in Fort Worth, Texas, at 3400 Burnett Tandy Drive. The event spans February 26 to February 28, 2027, with both in-person and virtual options. Virtual races run January 8 through March 31, 2027.
In-person race distances scheduled across the weekend include:
- Adults 5K
- Kids 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon
The course features live bands and crowd support along the route. Medals are planned for the half, full, and ultra distances, with special medals noted for 2026, 2027, and a 2028 50th anniversary collection.
The event supports the Cowtown C.A.L.F. Program (Children's Activities for Life and Fitness). The program reports funds raised toward a goal and states it has provided over 65,000 pairs of running shoes and gives more than 5,000 students each year an opportunity to complete a first race finish. A C.A.L.F. Supporter Bib option combines race registration with a tax deductible donation, and includes additional benefits through the Cowtown Gold Pass. Gold Pass benefits are listed as access to a VIP hospitality area, complimentary food and beverages, premium seating, private restrooms, gear check, and access to special race weekend events.
