The 2027 Cowtown Race Weekend
The event takes place in Fort Worth, Texas at 3400 Burnett Tandy Drive and spans February 26 to February 28, 2027. It is a multi-day running weekend that grew from two races in 1979 into a larger multi-event race offering a range of distances.
In-person race schedule lists events on Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28. Virtual race options run from January 8 to March 31, 2027 and cover the same distance options.

- Kids 5K presented by PNC Bank
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Full Marathon
- Ultra Marathon presented by Miller Lite
The event highlights course-side music and cheering crowds at many points, plus a post-race after party where participants and guests gather after finishing. Medals are issued for the half, full, and ultra distances with special designs noted for 2026, 2027, and a 2028 50th anniversary medal that can be combined with prior medals.
The Cowtown C.A.L.F. Program supports youth running by providing running shoes and race opportunities. The page lists program achievements including over 65,000 pairs of shoes provided and more than 5,000 students receiving a first finish line experience each year. A C.A.L.F. Supporter Bib option channels part of the fee as a tax deductible donation and includes a Cowtown Gold Pass with VIP hospitality benefits.
