Event
The 2026 Cowtown Race Weekend is a multi-day running event in Fort Worth, Texas, held at 3400 Burnett Tandy Drive. The event takes place across the weekend of February 27 to March 1, 2026. It includes both in-person and virtual options, with virtual races available from January 8 through March 31, 2026. The event is described as the largest multi-event race in North Texas.

The Ultra Marathon is presented by Miller Lite. The Kids 5K is presented by PNC Bank.
The Cowtown event traces its origins to 1979, when it began with a 10K and a full marathon. Subsequent additions: a 5K in 1998, a Kids 5K in 2003, a Half Marathon in 2005, and an Ultra Marathon in 2008. In 2009 the event launched the C.A.L.F. program, which serves about 5,000 students annually across 16 school districts, provides grants for new running shoes to low-income children, and offers discounted youth race entries. By 2019 the program marked its 10th anniversary, and to date the event reports donating over 65,000 pairs of shoes. Fundraising for the 2026 event shows $13,038.76 raised toward a $25,000 goal for C.A.L.F. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
