Covered Bridges Half Marathon
The Covered Bridges Half Marathon is a point to point road race in Vermont held on the first Sunday in June. The course begins at Saskadena Six Ski Area in Pomfret and finishes at Dewey Mills Field in Quechee. The race distance is 13.1 miles and the route passes through Vermont countryside.
The event enforces a strict three hour time limit. Runners who exceed this pace should expect that traffic control, course volunteers, and water or aid stations may no longer be available. Official finish times are recorded only for runners who complete the course within 3:00:00 gun time. Participants are advised to train appropriately, know their pace, and prioritize safety.
Registration opens the first Monday in December at 7 PM ET. All race entries are nontransferable, nonrefundable, and cannot be deferred or moved to future races. Entries and non-profit partner bibs are currently sold out.
Event logistics during race weekend include free buses to the start, Sunday morning bib pick-up at Saskadena Six, a Chamber pasta supper on the Saturday before the race, parking and spectator areas, hydration stations, drop bag service, pacers, awards, and official race photos. The race is organized by CBHM, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; donations and registration fees are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
