Covered Bridges Half Marathon
The Covered Bridges Half Marathon is a point to point road race held in Vermont over a 13.1 miles course. The route runs from Saskadena Six Ski Area in Pomfret to Dewey Mills Field in Quechee and passes through rural sections of the region.
The event is scheduled on the first Sunday in June. Registration opens the first Monday in December. The race is organized by CBHM, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and works with local towns, villages, non profit partners, and volunteer groups.
Organizers enforce a strict three hour time limit. Runners who exceed that pace should expect that traffic control, course volunteers, and water or aid stations may no longer be available. Official finish times are recorded only for participants who complete the course within 3:00:00 gun time.
Race weekend includes race day services such as bib pick up at the start area, bus transportation to the start, finish line food and beverage, hydration stations, and awards. A community pasta supper is held the Saturday before the race. All race entries and non profit partner bibs are currently sold out. Registration fees are non refundable, non transferable, and may not be deferred. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
