Event overview
The Covered Bridges Half Marathon is a point-to-point road race of 13.1 miles held on Sunday, June 7, 2026. The course starts at Saskadena Six Ski Area in Pomfret, Vermont and finishes at Dewey Mills Field in Quechee, Vermont. The route passes several of Vermont’s covered bridges. The race is organized by CBHM, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Woodstock, Vermont. Each year the event donates funds to youth groups, local non-profits, and recreation departments.
Registration and race rules
Registration for the 2026 race opens on December 1, 2025 at 7 PM ET; some entry categories may sell out. Entry fees are non-refundable, registrations cannot be deferred to a future year, and race bib transfers are prohibited. The event enforces a 3-hour time limit (approximately a 13-minute-per-mile pace); official finish times are provided for participants through that limit. The organizer notes that traffic control, volunteers, and water stops may not be available for participants slower than the time limit.

Runner parking is located near the finish area and bus transport is provided to the start. Race bib pick-up is available at the start location on race morning. Additional race information, policies, and a course map are provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
