Course-marche Centraide 2026 of the City of Montreal

Course-marche Centraide 2026 takes place at Parc Jean-Drapeau on Thursday October 1 and features a new course with a start at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. The route passes the horticultural sculptures created by Mosaïcultures internationales de Montréal and includes a nod to the 50th anniversary of the Montreal Olympic Games.

The event offers an on-site race and walk plus a separate remote challenge. The on-site options include a race and a walk. The À ton rythme challenge runs from October 5 to October 18 and requires five hours of physical activity accumulated over two weeks; participation can be individual or team-based and accepts a range of activities such as walking, running, swimming, cycling and other sports. A combined entry bundles the on-site race or walk with the À ton rythme challenge, with the combined fee available only at initial registration.

Distances offered:

  • Race: 5 km
  • Walk: 3.5 km

Organizers aim for 2,000 participants and a fundraising target of $100,000. One hundred percent of funds raised will be donated to Centraide du Grand Montréal. The event is intended for City of Montreal staff, elected officials, retirees and paramunicipal staff. Registration fees vary by option and registration period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
