Event overview
THE VERRAZANO takes place Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the American Veterans Memorial Pier in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY 11209. The event offers the following distances:

- 10K
Registration fees listed are $54 for the 5K (includes a $4 fee) and $64.60 for the 10K (includes a $4.60 fee). Registration closes April 3, 2026. The start and finish are at American Veterans Memorial Pier.
Course and race logistics
The 5K is a one-loop course along the shore. The 10K is two loops of the same course. U-turn points are given at about 1.55 miles for the 5K and at approximately 1.59 miles and a tenth of a mile from the start for the 10K. Mile markers are placed each mile. Water tables are located at three places on the loop, giving runners two to four opportunities for water, electrolyte drinks, and gels.
Participants must wear their bib on the front torso for chip timing. Timing mats record splits each loop and results are posted live. The course has separate lanes for cyclists and pedestrians; headphones are not allowed. Packet pickup requires a picture ID and bibs are distributed in numerical order. A personal items area is provided and managed by volunteers. Parking is available on Shore Parkway. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and by age groups; awards are not mailed. The event provides finisher medals, technical t-shirts, bagels, live digital tracking, and a live stream on YouTube.
