Cotton Candy Classic 5K
The Cotton Candy Classic 5K is the eighth annual 5K held at Patriot Circle inside Chilhowee Park in Knoxville, Tennessee. The event route passes through areas associated with the Tennessee Valley Fair and showcases fair sights and sounds along the course.
Proceeds from the event support the Tennessee Valley Fair Foundation. The foundation's mission is to preserve East Tennessee’s heritage by promoting agricultural awareness, supporting educational programs, and cultivating youth development through scholarships and youth activities.
Registration opens on October 20, 2025. The listed registration fee for the 5K is $25. Registration includes a Cotton Candy Classic 5K shirt if supplies are available at the time of registration and two admission tickets to the 2026 Tennessee Valley Fair. Packet pickup takes place on race morning, with parking available free in the Beaman Street parking lot. Participants proceed through the tunnel to reach on-site registration located to the right at the top of the hill.
