Event overview

The Cotswold Way Century is a single-stage, approximately 102 miles non-stop trail running event held on 19–20 September 2026. The route runs from Chipping Campden to Bath along the Cotswold Way National Trail and takes place on public rights of way. Participants have 32 hours to complete the course, with intermediate cut-offs in place.

Course and support

The route follows the existing Cotswold Way waymarkers (acorn), with occasional additional markings near checkpoints or where the route has options. The course is described as very hilly and includes short road sections, hard stone tracks, grassy paths and ploughed fields. There are no road closures, so road regulations apply on non-trail sections. Official diversions may be used and could alter the overall distance. The event provides food stations and support throughout the course, medical support, live tracking, a race number and a full route GPX file. Finishers receive a buckle and there are Sub 24 buckles. Participants may purchase a tech t-shirt, hoodie, and professional race photos. Optional XCover insurance is available.
