About the race
The Cotswold Way Century is a single-stage trail running event of approximately 102 miles along the Cotswold Way National Trail, running from Chipping Campden to Bath. The route follows public rights of way and uses the existing Cotswold Way waymarkers; occasional markings may be added near checkpoints or where the route has more than one option. Official diversions may alter the total distance.
The course is primarily on trails and public paths and includes some road sections, hard stone tracks, grassy paths and ploughed fields. The route is notably hilly, with many ascents and descents, and there are intermediate cut-offs along the way. Participants must respect road regulations on sections that are not on trails.
Entrants have a 32 hour time limit to complete the event and receive a race number and live tracking. The entry package also includes a full route GPX file, food stations and support on course, and medical support. Finishers receive event buckles and there are Sub 24 buckles available. Optional purchases include a tech t-shirt, a hoodie and professional race photos. XCover insurance is available as an optional extra. The minimum age to enter is 21. Entry fees listed include a UKA member rate of £175 and a non member rate of £177. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
