Cotswold Half Way

The Cotswold Half Way is a single-stage trail running event of approximately 47 miles along the Cotswold Way National Trail, running from Chipping Campden to Painswick. The route follows public rights of way and is mainly waymarked by the existing Cotswold Way acorn markers; organisers may add occasional markings at checkpoints or where the route has multiple options. There are no road closures for the event, so participants must follow normal road regulations on road sections.

The course is very hilly and includes short road sections, hard stone tracks, grassy paths and some ploughed fields. The event operates with intermediate cut-offs and a 15-hour overall time limit to complete the course. Support along the route includes food stations, live tracking, and medical support. Entry includes a race number and the full route GPX file; there are options to purchase a tech t-shirt, a hoodie, and professional race photos. A finishers medal is provided.

Additional event details note an age minimum of 21 or older, UKA member and non-member entry fees, and the option to purchase XCover as an added extra for possible refunds. The event is organised by Cotswold Trail Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
