Cotswold Half Way

The Cotswold Half Way is a single-stage trail running event of approximately 47 miles that runs from Chipping Campden to Painswick along the Cotswold Way National Trail. The route follows public rights of way and uses the existing Cotswold Way markers as the primary route markings, with occasional additional signs near checkpoints or where there are multiple route options.

The course is routed along a mix of surfaces, including short road sections, hard stone tracks, grassy paths and ploughed fields. The route is described as very hilly. Official diversions may be in place at times and can alter the overall distance.

Participants have 15 hours to complete the event, with intermediate cut-offs along the route. There are no road closures for this event so participants and supporters must respect road regulations on sections that are not on trails.

Entry benefits include a race number, open live tracking, and access to the full route GPX file. Food stations, course support and medical cover are provided. A finishers medal is awarded and entrants may purchase a tech t-shirt, a hoodie, and professional race photos. XCover is available as an optional purchase for potential refund protection.

Minimum age to enter is 21 years on the event date. The event is organised by Cotswold Trail Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
