Cotswold Half Way

The Cotswold Half Way is a single-stage trail running event organised by Cotswold Trail Events that follows the Cotswold Way National Trail between Chipping Campden and Painswick. The course is approximately 47 miles long and runs mainly on public rights of way.

The route is waymarked with the existing Cotswold Way acorn markers; occasional additional markings may appear near checkpoints or where the route has more than one option. There are no road closures for the event, so participants and supporters must follow normal road regulations on road sections. Official diversions may alter the overall distance listed in pre-race information.

The terrain includes many hills, a few road sections, hard stone tracks, grassy paths and some ploughed fields. The event is single-stage with intermediate cut-offs and a total allowed completion time of 15 hours.

Entry requirements and event administration are handled through the event entry system. Minimum age is 21 on the event date. Entry fees are listed for UKA members and non-members. Race entry includes a race number, live tracking, full route GPX, food stations and on-course support, medical cover, and a finishers medal. There are optional purchases such as a tech t-shirt, hoodie, and professional race photos. XCover insurance is available as an optional extra. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
