About the race
Run Winchcombe, a family-friendly running event organized with Winchcombe Show, is held at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe. It offers three distances: 1k for children (under 11) around the castle’s grassy field, a 5k undulating loop behind the castle before a single-track lane back to the main castle drive, and a 10k trail course heading to the historic Belas Knap burial ground before returning to Sudeley Castle. The course combines trails and open fields with scenic castle backdrop.
All finishers receive medals; 5k and 10k finishers get sausages from local butchers, and prizes are awarded for categories. Free parking in the castle car park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
