About the race
Now in its 14th year, the Alderton 5k Run is a fast, flat, friendly out-and-back race around picturesque Alderton and quiet country lanes. The 5 km route uses closed roads, heading from Alderton past the hamlet of Great Washbourne, turning before the A46 at Beckford, and returning to Alderton Playing Field for a short lap of the football pitch before finishing near the penalty spot. It welcomes runners of all levels, with kilometre markers and a flat profile.
100% of entry fees go to Alderton Acorns Pre-School and Toddlers. Perks include free medals, finish-line photos, post-race massage, water, and family-friendly facilities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
