Corre con Los Muertos - Run with the Dead
Corre con Los Muertos is the third annual community event organized by Nuestra Comunidad at Cascades Amphitheater in Jackson on October 31, 2026. The event combines running and cultural observance for Hispanic Heritage Month and Dia de Los Muertos, with proceeds supporting scholarships and resources for Hispanic students in the Jackson community.
Distances offered:
- 5K run
- 5K walk
- 200 yard kids run
Registration pricing changes by date. Early pricing begins January 1, 2026, with tiered fees later in the season. A group discount reduces the fee by five dollars per person when registering three or more people at the same time starting January 16. T shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by October 18; shirts are not guaranteed after that date.
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at a downtown Jackson location and on race morning at Cascades Park. Parking is available at Cascades Amphitheater. No dogs are permitted at the event except for service dogs.
The event is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group for both men and women in the run and the walk, plus overall and masters winners. A course map is provided for participants.
