Event Details
The Garden State 5k Corporate FunRun takes place on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Oak Ridge Park in Clark, New Jersey. The address is 136 Oak Ridge Road. The event is structured with team packet pickup and a company gathering first, followed by the 5k run/walk, and concluding with a post-race party and awards ceremony.
Venue and Course
Pre-race activities and the post-race party are staged on a grassy area next to the park's main yellow house, adjacent to the parking lot. Banquet tables and chairs are provided for seating. The 5k course starts by the parking lot and consists of one loop around Oak Ridge Park, finishing behind the event staging area.
Post-Race and Awards
The post-race party features free beer and pizza for all participants. Companies may also choose to cater their own picnic. A DJ provides music throughout the event, and a photographer takes free team and individual photos. Awards are presented for the largest team, the team with the best t-shirt, and the fastest teams and individuals.
Logistics
Plenty of parking is available in the main lot off Oak Ridge Road, with overflow parking on grass and near an archery area if needed. The team member registration fee is $48. The online registration deadline is Friday, July 1st at 5 p.m., and the team payment deadline is Tuesday, August 4th at 5 p.m. Race day registration is available but discouraged.
