Livingston Oval Ultra - March 6, 2027
The Livingston Oval Ultra is a timed loop event in Livingston, NJ held as the fourth annual edition. Runners complete as many laps of the Oval as they can within set time limits. The event offers multiple timed-distance options.
- 12 hours
- 6 hours
- 3 hours
- 1 hour
The course is USATF certified as of August 1, 2023 and is described as flat. The organizers reported a Canadian national record at the venue in 2026. Aid station provisions include typical ultra race foods and sponsor items, and athletes are never more than half a mile from assistance. Race bibs must be worn on the front.
Event operations use a public park space that was approved by the Livingston Town Council in June 2023. A designated gazebo field is available for athletes to set up tents, chairs, and coolers in a 12 foot by 12 foot space; racers are responsible for cleaning their site. Because the Oval is public, littering may result in disqualification.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each race and participants receive either a running-style ball cap or a winter knit hat; a discount option is available for those who decline the hat. Registration closes March 1. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
