The NYCRUNS Frozen Bonsai 5K takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY. The event distance is 5K. Logistics, amenities and policies
Start corrals use a pace-based system labeled AA-F and are located on Well House Drive. Bibs can be picked up in the Festival Area on race day; NYCRUNS members may have bibs mailed if registered at least 20 days before the event and to a U.S. address. Mailed bibs do not include shirts.
Bag check requires a single clear bag and items must fit inside one clear bag; event staff may search bags. Portable bathrooms will be available. Water and electrolyte fluids are provided on course and at the finish. Post-race refreshments include bagels and fresh fruit. Swag includes a tech shirt and a finisher medal; shirts are distributed on race day and sizes are not guaranteed. Race photos are provided by MarathonFoto and sent by email after the race.
Results and awards: top three male, female and non-binary overall awards by gun time; age-group awards by net/chip time for 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Standard no-refunds, no-transfers policy applies. Strollers and dogs are not allowed, earbuds may lead to disqualification, confetti cannons are prohibited, and time limits are enforced.
