North Cornwall Coastal Trail Run
The event is based in Polzeath and takes place on 9 January 2027. It begins on the village's golden beach and follows routes that head northeast along miles of unspoilt coastline. Courses pass the Pentire Peninsula, travel through fishing villages and valleys, and finish back in Polzeath with the Atlantic Sea as a backdrop.
The routes include the following distances:
- 10K: 6.3 miles, 902 ft ascent
- Half Marathon: 13.3 miles, 2654 ft ascent
- Marathon: 26.1 miles, 5767 ft ascent
- Ultra: 31.4 miles, 6558 ft ascent
Surface conditions are listed as trail, sand, rock, and grass, and the event is described as severe terrain. The event is part of the Endurancelife 2026-27 season and contributes points to the Season Leaderboard based on performance. Registered participants will be asked to check in online approximately two weeks before the event; the check in includes confirmation of personal details, an ICE contact, and viewing a mandatory event safety video.
