North Cornwall Coastal Trail Run
The event is based out of Polzeath on the North Cornwall coast and begins on the village's golden beach. Courses run north eastwards along miles of unspoilt coastline and pass the Pentire Peninsula, fishing villages and coastal valleys before returning to Polzeath. Surfaces include trail, sand, rock and grass and the route is described as severe terrain with significant elevation gain.
Distances offered:
- 10K - 6.3 miles, ascent 902 ft
- Half Marathon - 13.3 miles, ascent 2654 ft
- Marathon - 26.1 miles, ascent 5767 ft
- Ultra - 31.4 miles, ascent 6558 ft
The event is part of the Endurancelife 26-27 season and awards points that contribute to the Season Leaderboard. Check-in will be requested online about two weeks before the event and will include confirmation of personal details and viewing a mandatory event safety video.
Event services and notes include fully marked courses, electronic timing with split printouts, finishers medals, on-site amenities, energy bars, and an afterparty. Event parking may incur charges. Add-on options listed include a 10 minute massage at £10.80 and an event safety kit at £12 containing a whistle, foil blanket, sterile dressing, moist wipe and plasters.
Entry and booking terms include a 30 day full refund window, options to change events up to 30 days before, and the ability to transfer an entry up to 14 days before.
