Cornish Marathon
The Cornish Marathon is organised by East Cornwall Harriers and takes place on 1 November 2026 in Pensilva, Liskeard (Princess Road, PL14 5NF). The race starts and finishes at Pensilva with Race HQ at the Millennium Centre.
The route runs through the surrounding East Cornwall countryside and passes local landmarks such as Golitha Falls, Colliford Lake, Dozemary Pool, Jamaica Inn, Bolventer Valley and King Doniets Stones. For 2026 the race will be chip timed.
The minimum age for entry is 18. There is a cut off of 6.5 hours; marshals will stand down after this time and there are cut off points around the course.
Entries are limited to 475. The event is full and new entries are placed on a waiting list (31 waiting list entries at the time listed). Entries opened on 9 May 2026 and closed on 23 October 2026. Entry fees listed are £41.00 for ARC / UKA affiliated runners and £43.00 for non-affiliated runners. There are no entries on the day.
When the waiting list is used no payment is required at the initial waiting-list stage; if a place is offered the organiser will invite the entrant to complete payment to confirm the entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
