Cornish Marathon

The Cornish Marathon is organised by East Cornwall Harriers and runs around the countryside of East Cornwall. The race starts and finishes in Pensilva, with Race HQ at the Millennium Centre. The course passes several local landmarks, including Golitha Falls, Colliford Lake, Dozemary Pool, Jamaica Inn, Bolventer Valley and King Doniets Stones.

This edition of the event is chip timed. The minimum age to take part is 18. Entries are limited to 475 and there are no entries on the day. Entries open on Saturday 9 May 2026 and close on Friday 23 October 2026. Entry fees are listed as £41.00 for ARC / UKA affiliated runners and £43.00 for non-affiliated runners.

A cut off of 6.5 hours applies; marshals will stand down after this time and there are cut off points around the course with further details to follow. The event is part of the Cornish Grand Prix series. An option to purchase event insurance (XCover) is offered for participants who may seek a refund if they are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
