Cornish Marathon
The Cornish Marathon is organised by East Cornwall Harriers and takes place on 1 November 2026 with start and finish in Pensilva. Race headquarters are at the Millennium Centre in Pensilva. The event is a marathon that runs around the countryside of East Cornwall and is part of the Cornish Grand Prix series.
The route passes several local landmarks including Golitha Falls, Colliford Lake, Dozemary Pool, Jamaica Inn, Bolventer Valley and King Doniets Stones, which provide spectator spots along the course. The race will be chip timed and has a course cut off of 6.5 hours. Marshals will stand down after this time and there are cut off points on the course.
Entries are limited to 475 and there are no entries on the day. Entry windows in 2026 opened on 9 May and closed on 23 October. At the time of this listing the event is full and new entries are placed on a waiting list. Joining the waiting list does not require payment; if a place becomes available the organiser will invite the person to complete payment to confirm the entry.
Minimum age to take part is 18. Entry fees are listed as GBP 41 for ARC or UKA affiliated runners and GBP 43 for non affiliated runners. An optional XCover refund option is available for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
