Newnham 8 and 4 Mile trail race + canicross
Held on 28 August 2026 at Newnham Park in Plympton, Devon, this is an early evening trail run set in the grounds of a private estate on the outskirts of Plymouth. The event takes place on estate trails and uses looped laps for each distance.
Distances on offer include:
- 8 mile - two lap trail course
- 4 mile - one lap trail course
- 8 mile canicross - two laps with dog
- 4 mile canicross - one lap with dog
Entry is open from 15 October 2025 and closes on 27 August 2026. Minimum age for participation is 18 or older. Entry fees listed are £18 for the 8 mile and £16 for the 4 mile; the same fees apply to canicross entries. Entry is managed through the SiEntries system and requires a competitor account.
