Newnham 8 and 4 Mile trail race + canix
The event takes place on 28 August 2026 at Newnham Park, Plympton, Devon, on a private estate on the outskirts of Plymouth. It is presented as an early evening trail run set in the grounds of the Newnham estate.
Distances on offer:
- 8 Miler (two laps; canicross option)
- 4 Miler (one lap; canicross option)
The 8 Miler is offered as an alternative distance for runners who want to increase distance beyond standard 10K distances and for those preparing for an autumn half marathon or marathon. The 4 Miler provides a shorter loop for runners who want a different distance from a 5K or 10K.
Entries open 15 October 2025 and close 27 August 2026. The minimum age to enter is 18 or older. Entry fees listed are £18 for the 8 Miler and £16 for the 4 Miler; the same fees apply for canicross entries. Entries are managed through SiEntries.
