Newnham 8 and 4 Mile trail race plus canicross
The event is an early evening trail run held in the grounds of the Newnham estate at Newnham Park, on the outskirts of Plymouth in Plympton, Devon. The course runs on private estate land and is described as looped laps.
Distances offered:
- 8 Miler (two laps)
- 4 Miler (one lap)
Canicross categories are available alongside the standard runner entries. The event carries a minimum age requirement of 18 years. Entries open 15 October 2025 and close 27 August 2026. Entry fees listed are £18.00 for the 8 Miler and £16.00 for the 4 Miler; canicross entries use the same fees for each distance. To enter, participants must log in or register with the SiEntries system.
The 8 Miler provides a longer loop option for those seeking a non standard distance, while the 4 Miler offers a shorter single lap alternative.
