Event details
The Newnham 8 and 4 Mile trail race + canicross is scheduled for 28 August 2026 at Newnham Park, Plympton, Devon, PL7 5BN. The event is an early evening trail run set in the grounds of the private Newnham estate on the outskirts of Plymouth.
Canicross runners are welcome. The minimum age for entry is 18. All money raised will support the work of Bowel Cancer West. Entries open on 15 October 2025 and close on 27 August 2026. Entry requires a SiEntries account (competitors must log in or register).
Distances and entry fees
- 8 Miler - 2 laps, entry fee £18.00; canicross option £18.00
- 4 Miler - 1 lap, entry fee £16.00; canicross option £16.00
The 8 Miler is offered as an alternative longer distance to standard 10K or half marathon events. The 4 Miler is a single-loop alternative to standard 5K or 10K distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
