Dartmoor Summer Series Maprun South Hessary

The Dartmoor Summer Series Maprun 2025 at South Hessary is the fourth of five technical orienteering events held on Dartmoor's open moorland. Designed for experienced orienteers, the courses navigate a challenging terrain featuring pits, rocks, gullies, and outcrops, requiring advanced navigation skills. Participants use the MapRun7 smartphone app to record their progress, eliminating the need for physical flags.

Three courses are offered: Orange (3.6 km, 145m climb), Green (3.6 km, 125m climb), and Blue (6.6 km, 210m climb), none suitable for novices.
