Devon and Cornwall Backyard Ultra

The Devon and Cornwall Backyard Ultra is a unique endurance running event where participants run 4.167 miles every hour, on the hour, aiming to complete as many laps as possible. Each lap must be finished within 60 minutes, allowing time for recovery before the next circuit begins. The event continues until only one runner remains, who is declared the winner.

It encourages personal challenges, with many participants achieving personal bests. Camping is included for participants, and all proceeds support those living with bowel cancer and fund related research. The event will take place in August 2025.
