Event overview
The Cookie Classic Run is the 12th annual event held on January 17, 2026, in Chesapeake, Virginia. All in-person distances are out and back on flat asphalt at the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail. Distances offered include:
- 1 mile Samoa Stroll
- 5K Trefoil Trek
- 10K Tagalong
- Virtual 5K Do-Si-Don't Show
- Conquering the Cookie event series
Registered in-person participants receive a T-shirt and finisher items. Specific items and guarantees include a full-sized box of cookies at the finish if registered by 10/15/2025, guaranteed T-shirt size and name on the shirt for registrations completed by 11/1/2025, chipped timing, professional photographs provided free of charge, and finisher certificates. 1 mile finishers receive an event patch. 5K and 10K finishers receive medals, finisher gifts, and age and gender place awards. Virtual runners receive mailed finisher items, medal, T-shirt, and race bib. Pets are not permitted unless they are certified service animals.
