Conquer the Rock 25k & 50k : Table Rock State Park
Conquer the Rock is a trail running event held at Table Rock State Park in Pickens, SC on March 6, 2027. The courses traverse Pinnacle Mountain and Table Rock and are described as steep, rocky, and featuring many switchbacks and climbs. The event listing cites 16,000 feet of elevation change and includes summit sections of both Pinnacle and Table Rock.
Two distances are offered:
- Bear Crawl 25k - one loop
- Foothills 50k - two laps
Registration opens September 1, 2026. The first 100 registered participants receive custom race socks. Registration includes park entry, a finisher medal, a custom race bib, event-themed giveaways and a race sticker, chip timing with live results, complimentary race photos, and a pre- and post-race music area. Post-run pancakes are provided.
Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and age-group medals for 1st through 3rd in each age category. Age groups are listed from 0–9 up to 80+. Volunteer shifts of three hours (packet pickup, setup, cleanup, or cheer squad) earn a free entry to any Upstate Race Series-owned event.
On-site facilities noted by the park include cabins with a two-night minimum and campgrounds with water and electrical hookups, RV accommodation, and restrooms with hot showers.
