Community Spirit Race 5K & 1 Mile
The Community Spirit Race is a community running event held at Flagler Credit Union Stadium on the Florida Atlantic University campus in Boca Raton, FL (777 Glades Road, 33431) on March 6, 2027. The event offers on-site and virtual participation options and provides amenities for registrants.
Distances and formats:
- 5K Run/Walk certified course, Accuchip timed
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- Virtual 5K with T-shirt and medal mailed to virtual participants
Registration windows and fees are published for each event. Packet pickup is available in advance at Runner's Edge beginning February 28 through race day during store hours. Registration includes an event T-shirt, bib, and finisher medal.
Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to masters categories for male and female competitors. Age-group awards are offered in five-year increments, three deep, from 10 and under through 80 and over.
Event features a kids fun run and kids zone, a nonprofit and vendor expo, breakfast for participants, music, and on-site activities. The venue offers ample free parking. For accessibility, the course is accessible to people with visual and mobility impairments; standard wheelchairs are welcome. The course cannot accommodate handcycles or racing chairs.
