The race uses a two-loop, oceanside course along Narragansett Bay and Bristol Harbor. The route begins near the Colt State Park headquarters, descends Surprise Hill toward the water, follows park walking paths and the seawall, joins the East Bay Bike Path, runs around Mill Pond and Bristol Harbor toward Independence Park, then returns via Poppasquash Road into the Coggeshall Farm Road entrance for a second loop. There is a 3.5 hour course cutoff.

There are three aid station locations that are visited twice (six stops total). At roughly mile 1.5 and 7.75 the Stone Bridge aid station provides water only. At roughly mile 3.25 and 9.5 the Harborview Avenue station provides water, Gatorade and energy gel. At roughly mile 5.0 and 11.25 the Poppasquash Road station provides water only.

Packet pickup is available on race morning near race parking and the start/finish area. Pre-registered minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a waiver at packet pickup. Awards go to the top three overall men and women and to the top three in each age division (0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+). All finishers within the course cutoff receive a finisher’s medallion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
