Downtown Jingle 5K, Providence RI, December 13, 2026
The Downtown Jingle 5K is a multi-event running program held on Memorial Boulevard in downtown Providence. The course starts and finishes on Memorial Boulevard and travels through downtown Providence past the State House and along the Providence River. Chip timing is used for the 5K event.
The event supports local charities with on-site toy collections for Toys for Tots and donations for Amos House. Virtual participants may pick up race shirts at pre-race packet pickup or have shirts mailed after race day. T-shirt sizes are available in youth small and medium and adult unisex sizes from small through XXL.
Race operations and policies include no refunds, no pets allowed, and participants with baby strollers are asked to line up at the back for safety reasons. Parents are allowed to run with children in the youth run. Awards are given to top overall finishers and to age-group winners for multiple age brackets; team awards use chip times and team scoring is by top three finishers.
Packet pickup and on-site registration take place at Marathon Sports, Level One at Providence Place. The event is part of a multi-race series option that includes other RunRhody events during the season. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
