P.R.I.D.E. Inc 9th Annual Running of the Elves 5K
P.R.I.D.E. Inc hosts a holiday themed run and walk on December 12, 2026, beginning and ending at PRIDE Inc, 3 Maple Street, Taunton, MA. The 5K course runs through surrounding residential neighborhoods and is USATF certified. Race timing is provided by RaceWire.

A separate two mile route is marked for walkers and rollers to Mulcahey School and back. The event is patrolled by local police with officers directing traffic at intersections. Parking is available in the PRIDE Inc parking lot, on nearby streets, and in neighboring parking lots.
Proceeds support PRIDE Inc and its mission of improving the quality of life for adults with disabilities in the greater Taunton area. Donations and sponsorships are accepted, including options to sponsor a PRIDE walking team member.
Race features include bib pick up at PRIDE Inc on Friday December 11, 2026 from 12:00 to 17:00 and race swag for the first 100 registrants. Prizes are listed for top male, female, and child (12 and under) runners, a race chair athlete category, and Best Costume. After the event participants receive hot chocolate and donuts.
