Event details
The Chilly Willy running festival takes place on January 1, 2026 at Seekonk High School in Seekonk, MA. The event includes the following distances:
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
Courses and timing
All races start and finish at the high school. The 5K and 10K are described as flat. The half marathon is described as New England flat with some rolling hills and is a certified course. The 5K and 10K were measured using a Jones counter. The event will use chip timing.
Aid, awards, and logistics
The half marathon has seven water stops, the 10K has two, and the 5K has one. There is a porta-potty at mile 5 on the half marathon course. Not all water stops will be manned; cups of water will be provided. All registrants will receive a finisher medal. Trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers in each distance. Packet pick up is available at the Seekonk YMCA on November 1, 2025 and on race morning at the high school. Race-day t-shirts are available for those registered online before 12-22-2025.
