About the race
Collingwood Off Road Running (CORR) is a membership-based community club focused on trail running, hiking and walking around the Blue Mountains area. The season features a six-week flagged series held June through August with short and long route options, plus regular off-week challenges and weekly Strava activities that contribute to a points system.
Courses are marked and shared via Strava so participants can download routes for offline use. The marked loop is designed around 4K with an option to complete two loops to approximate 8K. Scoring uses uploaded Strava activities rather than formal timing; points are awarded for participation, placing on the short and long routes, and for bonus activities such as segments, selfie stations and off-week challenges. There are no podiums; prizes are distributed by draw and season-long points lead to larger awards.
Membership benefits include entry to the six-week series, post-run social gatherings with snacks and giveaways, volunteer trail days, and participation in social and community events such as popup runs, orienteering/trivia trail days and a trail running film festival. The club publishes membership pricing and single-race fees, operates with insurance coverage, and maintains partnerships with local businesses and trail hosts to support events and prizes.
