About the race
The Thornbury Turkey Trot on October 10, 2026 takes place at the Beaver Valley Community Centre in Thornbury, Ontario. The event is organized by the Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Club and raises funds for local and international community projects; fundraising totals shown for the event are CA$3,037.01.

Main race entries are sold out, with a small number of free kids run bibs available for ages 10 and under. Registration includes custom race swag, chip timing, custom medals, draw prizes from local businesses, a DJ, free parking, indoor facilities, and indoor post-race food. Swag is guaranteed for the first 700 runners while quantities last; the first 10 run/walk registrants originally received a complimentary rotary water bottle. A 15 percent family discount applies when registering three to six participants in a single transaction.
Race awards include gift certificates for overall winners with CA$100 for half marathon winners and CA$75 for 10K and 5K winners, plus age-category recognition for multiple bands. The half marathon course is supported for three hours. Registration is non-refundable; transfers are allowed through the event transfer process and bibs may be transferred to another participant until the morning of the race for a CA$3 service fee. The race committee makes final decisions about cancellations for safety reasons; refunds are not offered for weather or public health cancellations.
