Thornbury Turkey Trot

The Thornbury Turkey Trot is an annual running event held over the Thanksgiving weekend. The 2025 event took place on Saturday October 11, 2025 and attracted over 1,000 participants.

The race is a fundraiser for the Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Club. Proceeds support local community needs and a variety of international aid projects. In 2025 the event also supported the revitalization of Moreau Park in Thornbury, in partnership with the Town of The Blue Mountains, to upgrade several park facilities.
