Thornbury Turkey Trot 2026
The Thornbury Turkey Trot is organized by the Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Club at the Beaver Valley Community Centre in Thornbury, Ontario. The event takes place on October 10, 2026 and features several run and walk options along with family-oriented activities.
Distances offered include:
- 21K Run (half marathon)
- 10K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1K Free Kid's Run for ages 10 and under
Registration includes event swag, chip timing, a custom medal, draw prizes from local businesses, a DJ onsite, free parking, indoor facilities, and post-race food. Swag is provided to the first 700 runners while supplies last. The first ten registrants receive a Rotary water bottle. A 15% family discount applies to groups of 3 to 6 registered together.
Race kit pickup and late registration are available the day before and on race morning. Bibs may be transferred to another participant until October 9 for a service fee. The half marathon course is supported for three hours. Overall winner gift certificates are awarded and age category recognition is given for male and female runners across listed age groups.
