Cold Turkey 5K and Little Turkeys Fun! Run/Walk - Franklin, NC
This event is an annual run/walk held at the Tassee Shelter, 877 Ulco Drive, Franklin, NC 28734. It comprises multiple event options and is organized as a fundraiser for Special Olympics of Macon County, NC.

Event shirts are limited; the first 200 pre-registered 5K entrants and the first 20 Little Turkeys registrants were designated to receive shirts, with a registration cutoff date noted for guaranteed shirts. T-shirt and bib pickup is scheduled the day before and on the morning of the event, and race day packet pickup and registration are available in the morning.
Awards for the timed 5K include overall 1st-3rd male and female and 1st-3rd age division winners. The Little Turkeys FUN! Run/Walk (for ages 10 and under) includes an overall award and a completion award for every participant.
