Cold Turkey 5K and Little Turkeys Fun Run/Walk : Franklin, NC

Registration opens February 2, 2026 and closes November 25, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the timed 5K, $25.00 for the not timed 5K, and $20.00 for the Little Turkeys run. The first 200 pre-registered online 5K racers and 20 Little Turkeys will receive an event shirt; registering before November 9, 2026 guarantees an event shirt. T-shirt and bib pickup is scheduled the day before at the shelter and on race morning; race day packet pickup and race day registration begin on the morning of the event.
Awards for the timed 5K include overall 1st–3rd male and female and 1st–3rd in age divisions. For the Little Turkeys (10 years old and under), there are overall awards and every participant receives a completion award. The 5K has a one hour cutoff.
