Gobble on the Green takes place on November 26, 2026 at The Village Green Commons, 160 Frank Allen Road, Cashiers, NC. The event includes a 5K run/walk and a separate Junior Warrior Course. Registration fees listed are $40.00 for the 5K and $0.00 for the junior course; registration windows are provided by the organizer.
T-shirts are available only to participants who register by November 6, 2026 at 12:00 pm. The final t-shirt order is placed on November 6 and additional shirts will not be available on the day of the event.
Early check-in is available the day before the event on November 25 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at The Village Green Lewis Hall, where participants may pick up their bib and t-shirt. Race day check-in will be available inside Lewis Hall during the posted morning check-in hours.
The course will be marked and staffed by volunteers. Surfaces include gravel, grass, dirt, and pavement. Parents with strollers should start at the back of the field. Dogs may not participate in the event; spectators may bring leashed dogs under control.
Parking is available at nearby lots about a five minute walk from the start. Awards include pies and medals for the top two overall male and female finishers and age-group awards for the top two male and female in seven age groups. Four door prizes will be drawn by bib number; participants must be present to win. Finish times will be posted after the event. Proceeds support The Village Green, a nonprofit park open year round.
