Event details
The Feral Mtn 100M/50M is an inaugural trail ultramarathon organized by Coyote Ugly Racing on April 24, 2026. The event is based in Ellijay, GA, near FS Road 90A. Two main distances are offered:
- 100 miles - about 104 miles route, 21,000 ft vertical gain
- 50 miles - 50-mile race with about 10,000 ft vertical gain
Time limits are published for each distance: a 40-hour limit for the 100-mile event and a 20-hour limit for the 50-mile event.
Course and support
The courses pass through three contiguous sections of national forest. An aid station matrix is provided and shows multiple staffed aid stations and intermediate points along the route. Named aid locations in the matrix include Emery Creek, Windy Gap, Grassy Mountain, Ball Field, Bear Creek Spur, Bear Creek Trailhead, Cohutta Overlook, Peeples Lake Road, and Dennis Mill.
