Run Baby Run Family 5K Run/Walk
Cradle of Hope presents the 2nd Annual Run Baby Run Family 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Long Lake Regional Park, Lions Park Shelter, New Brighton, MN. The event takes place on the park trails and accepts runners and walkers participating individually or with family and friends.
The event supports Cradle of Hope programs that assist families and infants in crisis across Minnesota. Cradle of Hope provides rent assistance to help prevent evictions and family homelessness, distributes baby shower baskets, and offers infant safe sleep education along with portable cribs, sleep sacks, and crib sheets to help ensure safe places for babies to sleep.
Onsite activities are family oriented and include face painting and raffles among other options. Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both Adult and Youth categories.
The event includes a fundraising component with a stated goal of $20,000. Fundraising reward tiers mentioned include inspirational running socks for a $50 level, a 10,000 mAH power bank at $100, a stainless steel water bottle at $250, and a custom running jacket at $500.
