Square Lake 70.3 is a USAT certified half-distance triathlon held at Square Lake Park in Stillwater, Minnesota on September 12, 2026. Course, services, and logistics
The swim takes place in Square Lake. The bike course is a scenic two-loop route with bottle exchanges approximately every 13 miles. The run is a shaded out-and-back course with aid stations every 1.5 miles supplying Hammer electrolytes and gels; aid stations also offer Coke, oranges, and bananas. The swim start is a self-seeded time trial format. Packet pickup is available on race day at Square Lake Park and includes race bib, timing chip, event shirt if selected, finisher medal, and nutrition samples. Parking at the park requires a one-day pass fee of $7. A professional photographer will be on site at no additional cost, and official results are provided by FrontrunnerUSA.
