Coffee Classic Run
The Coffee Classic Run takes place at Indian Springs Metropark in White Lake, Michigan. This event celebrates national coffee day with timed races held on a paved path. Both the start and finish lines are located at the Meadowlark Pavilion.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K
- 8 Mile
- Kids Run
The courses feature water stations at regular intervals. For those completing the 5K, a water station is located at the 1.5-mile turnaround. Participants in the 8 Mile race will pass water stations at miles 1.5, 3, 4.5, and 6.5. Because the park remains open to the public during the event, the course may be shared with other runners and cyclists.
Registered participants in the 5K and 8 Mile events receive a custom hat, a finisher race medal, and a coffee mug. Refreshments and coffee are provided on-site. Awards recognize the top male and female finishers in each race, as well as the top three finishers in age groups ranging from under 9 to over 80.
Parking, restrooms, and packet pickup are situated near the start line at the Meadowlark Pavilion. A Metropark sticker is required for vehicle entry to the park and can be acquired on the morning of the event. Proceeds from race registration are used to support local community and athletic groups.
