Cochrane Wild Rose Indoor Spring Triathlon

Event Format
The Cochrane Wild Rose Indoor Spring Triathlon takes place at the Spray Lake Sawmills Centre in Cochrane, Alberta. The event features a timed indoor format divided into heats starting in the morning.
Participants complete three segments:
- A 10-minute swim in the pool.
- A 20-minute bike session on a stationary bike led by an instructor.
- A 15-minute run or walk on an indoor track.
Athletes register for a specific heat and are assigned a group leader who stays with them throughout the event. The heats are scheduled at 8:00am, 8:15am, 8:30am, 8:45am, 9:00am, 9:15am, 9:30am, and 9:45am.
Event Details
Participants must arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled heat start. The event includes a 15-minute transition from the swim to the bike and a 5-minute transition from the bike to the run. Swimmers are organized into lanes by pace, with up to four per lane. The bike segment is a coached workout in a spin room. The run takes place on a track shared with facility members.
Spectators are welcome, with the best viewing area at the pool. Spectators are not permitted in the spin room due to space and liability, and space is limited near the track. After finishing, participants receive a finisher's bracelet or Mala and a Jugo Juice.
Registration and Logistics
Registration fees vary based on the date of registration. Participants are advised to bring specific gear including a swimsuit, goggles, a towel, running shoes, and a water bottle. A swim cap is provided. Athletes should bring a lock for locker use. The event is organized by Wild Rose Women's Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
