Event overview
The Cochrane Wild Rose Indoor Spring Triathlon takes place on March 15, 2026 at Spray Lake Sawmills Centre in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. The event is organized by Wild Rose Women's Events and is described as open to participants of all experience levels. Participants are divided into heats and are sorted by pace within each heat on the day of the event. The venue uses an indoor pool, a spin studio with stationary bikes, and an indoor track.
Format, logistics and gear
- Swim: 10 minutes
- Bike: 20 minutes
- Run: 15 minutes
Each heat includes a pool swim, a stationary bike segment led by an instructor or coach, and a walk or run on the indoor track. Participants check in, receive body marking, and meet a heat leader and volunteers who stay with the group. Lifeguards and swim marshals are present in the pool area. Transition areas require quick movement between swim, bike, and run; participants walk from the pool to the spin room and then to the track.
Recommended items include a swimsuit or trisuit, goggles, a swim cap (provided), a mandatory towel, running shoes, a water bottle, and optional cycling shoes for SPD pedals. After the event, participants receive a finisher's bracelet or Mala and a Jugo Juice. Spectators are welcome but access is limited: they can view the swim, cannot enter the spin rooms, and have no available space on the track.
